Pelican Ergo-lounger High Seatback.

The replacement seat was exactly as advertised. Shipping was quick. I called TG Watersports with some questions regarding replacement and they were very helpful. Great experiene all around.

Just a follow up to my review. Since pop rivets couldn't be used to affix seatback in place, drilled holes in marked position and used machine bolts or screws to hold plastic retainer in place. Holes in seat bracket matched up perfectly with molded hole starts in kayak. Quality of seat is excellent. Hardware is a minor issue that does not detract from quality seatback.

Excellent modification to original seatback that was terrible in an Equinox 10.4. Only issue was that the pop rivets would not work to hold the seat in place as there was no real access to place a backup washer on the underside to secure the rivets. Also instructions referenced bolt and nut for affixing the adjustment strap but none are included in the parts package. Just reused the original bolts and nuts that were on the straps.

Very happy with this seat back. Good quality, high back support, nice cushion and fits my Ellie kayak perfectly!

The Pelican Ergo Lounger seatback comes standard on some Pelican kayaks, but not all. My wife has this seat back on her Ultimate 100 NTX, but I just had the much lower Ergo Form seat back on my Ultimate 120, which provided nearly no support. I tried her kayak and her seat was WAY more comfortable than mine, with tons of support and a much higher backrest, so I ordered one to replace mine. The seat came with new straps, even the short sections that connect to the kayak itself, and even complete with new ABS strap buckles, stainless washers, and rivets, and installation instructions. Everything you need to install it permanently on your kayak, even if you did not already have one similar. All you need is a rivet gun. You can also just use screws instead.

I am now able to enjoy my sport so much more now, I was able to kayak and float for 3 + hours with this seat. The best money I have spent.
