    I used this seat to replace the original plastic seat in a Pelican Dare Devil Ram-X 16' Canoe. The four screws and nylon nuts provided connected this seat to the gunwale. This seat looks better than the original. The original seat had a thin strip of plastic. When the plastic tore the seat was no longer connected to the gunwale.
