Old Town Canoe Top Deck Saranac All Models NEW Design.

The bow top deck on my canoe had cracked and side wall was bulging. This piece fit nicely and pulled everything back into shape. It works well. It's a bit pricey, but way cheaper than a new canoe. You do need a pop rivet tool that fits the larger rivets and a drill as all the old holes don't line up.

A very good repacement for my older Guide model. Use next size smaller drill bit to remove old rivets. Clamp new deck into position. Use 90° drill adapter like the little one from DeWalt for a few new holes in the new deck. Replace the rivets with a gun and rivets from a hardware store. Easy peasy.
The new deck has a large Old Town emblem molded into the deck that made securing my aftermarket jam cleat a bit of a challenge. The extra holes I had to drill into the new deck are the only reason I did not rate it a 5. It's just as sturdy as the original.

This fit perfect on my saranac 146 and included the rivets.
