Ocean Kayak Pro Hatch Kit New Style

Great fit. Just what I needed. Some workers threw out our hatch cover. I went out on a limb ordering this sight unseen. Works great. Just what I was looking for.

This was an exact replacement for the one that we lost off the Caper kayak. It is a "kit" so it comes with everything you need to install it, even if your Ocean Kayak does not currently have the hole cut out in the deck for it (your kayak does need to be one that had the option to have the cover, but just wan't added at the time of kayak purchase).

It includes instructions for how to cut out the hole (if you need to), new rubber weatherstripping to go around the cutout, strings to attach the top to the kayak to avoid losing it, new straps, and stainless screws to hold the straps and strings to the kayak. I already had the hold as my kayak included the cover, but I went ahead and replaced my worn weather stripping, straps, and keeper string since they were included.
